ABOUT US:

Permaculture for Sustainable Communities Africa (PFCSA) is an innovative, voluntary, non-profit making organization that works in the field of Permaculture/Regenerative Agriculture, Education, and Water and Clean Energy systems in Western Kenya. PFSCA was formed to promote and put into practice regenerate agriculture and land-use practice that could provide abundant, health and nutritious food, revive local economies, rebuild soil fertility and biodiversity, and restore climate stability by returning carbon to the soil. Permaculture epitomizes sustainability by harnessing mutually beneficial relationships, create synergistic and self-supporting ecosystems.

Kenya is on the edge of ecological  and COVID-19 disaster. There is need to work in concert with nature systems and dynamics, meaning today’s solutions should be cognizant in balancing consumption and taking care of ecosystems. PFSCA does not create or devise plan, but believe in a blueprint that already exist in the world in the form of humanity`s collective wisdom, manifested in applied, hands-on practices and technologies that are economically viable, ecologically friendly and scientifically valid.

As soon as it became clear COVID-19 would become global pandemic, we ramped up our response to protect the vulnerable people we serve in Kenya.

Permaculture for Sustainable Communities Africa (PFSCA) is playing an indispensable role to support global program to overcome the damage wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are an organization that made an outside standing contribution to tackling the COVID-19 emergency and its grave and manifold consequences, We employ nature-based solution to solve problems that affect the well-being of people in Kenya.
